Actress reveals all about her unfaithful marriage

In a new kiss-and-tell book northern actress Denise Welch reveals all about her unfaithful marriage to fellow actor Tim Healy.

Writing for the Mirror, the Loose Women presenter details an extensive excerpt from her book Pulling Myself Together.

She pays reference to her long-term secret affair with 36-year-old carpenter Steve Murray, a man she met while filming Down Under in Devon.

"Steve was a fit 36-year-old and the sex was fantastic. End of story," she states.

"I'm not going to lie about it. He worshipped me and was great in bed; we were incredibly compatible in that department."

However, while her husband Healy was left fuming at the revelation at the time, he later decided to give their marriage a second chance and was himself prone to a spot of infidelity.

"Tim hasn't been an angel; as he later confessed, he's had the odd one-night stand here and there," reports Welch.

She said for them the key is not to treat sexual infidelity as the worst thing in the world, as she says quite simply it is not, which comes as welcome endorsement to those who are married but looking.
