Infidelity hits the Swedish royals

Accusations of infidelity have hit the Swedish royal palace.

Jonas Bergstrom, who has been dating Princess Madeleine, 27, of Sweden, for the past eight years has reportedly had a bit of nookie with a girl ten years his junior.

The allegations come from 21-year-old Bournemouth student Tora Uppstrom Berg who told Norwegian gossip magazine Se Og Ho of her adulterous encounter.

Ms Uppstorm-Berg, who is studying photography at Arts University College, claims to have had a bit on the side with the would-be prince during a ski holiday in Sweden but withholds that she was unaware of his identity or that he was being unfaithful.

"I had an affair with Madeleine's fiance," she confirmed.

"We were intimate. He followed me home in a taxi at four o'clock in the morning."

Commenting on the revelation, internet blogger Tim Worstall wrote in the Examiner that he would be surprised if the accusations of adultery would create cracks in the palace.

"As with such marriages a little bit of infidelity for sport, enjoyment or even love has, historically, not been thought out of the ordinary," he stated.
