Women want to get a bit of nookie with Lib Dem leader

Following last week's televised election debate Nick Clegg has garnered a rather unexpected following - from would-be female adulterers.

A new poll placed the Liberal Democrat leader as the politician that British women would most like to have a bit of nookie with.

According to the study by adult toy specialist LoveHoney, Clegg scooped almost half of the votes, a result he will surely want to emulate in the upcoming General Election.

Of the 2,000 women questioned, some 47 per cent would not think twice about having a secret affair with Clegg.

His seemingly seductive sex appeal left Conservative leader David Cameron lagging behind with just 29 per cent of the votes, while Prime Minister Gordon Brown managed to attract just 24 per cent of female attention.

Meanwhile, a separate poll by Metro Harris confirms that Clegg has indeed become a bit of a ladies' man.

The news provider reveals that he has achieved 32 per cent of the female voting share, putting his party ahead of both Labour and the Conservatives.
