Adulterers spark passions (and earthquakes)
20 Apr 2010
Adulterers in Britain may feel the heat of their partner's anger upon them if their secret affair is exposed. But that is nothing compared to the wrath that nature will throw upon philanderers, an Islamic cleric has claimed.
In a remarkable interview with reformist newspaper Aftab-e Yazd, Iranian preacher Ayatollah Kazem Sedighi claims that women who dress proactively cause infidelity and natural disasters.
"Many women who dress inappropriately ... cause youths to go astray, taint their chastity and incite extramarital sex in society, which increases earthquakes," he told the news provider.
However, unfaithful women wondering how to avoid such disastrous catastrophes in their personal life could be safe in the knowledge that it is possible to keep a secret affair a secret.
A new application for the Apple iPhone known as TigerText allows adulterers to send text messages to their extramarital lover that will then be deleted instantaneously upon reading.
It could go a long way to preventing fault lines in your relationship.
