Adulterers don't have sex addiction, claims Hefner

Adulterers don't have sex addiction, claims Hefner Legendary ladies' man Hugh Hefner has dished a blow to adulterers hoping they can claim sex addiction.

With regards to Tiger Woods and Jesse James attributing their infidelities to addiction, the Playboy founder said it is a "cop out".

In an interview with AskMen, Hefner, who is himself no stranger to polygamy, regularly getting a bit of nookie with several of his love 'bunnies', said that sex can be obsessive rather than addictive.

He stated: "Sex is not like a drug or alcohol. It doesn't affect the physicality in the same way. But it can become very obsessive."

His comments come on the eve of what is his 84th birthday and despite his seasoned age, the bathrobe-sporting legend shows no signs of slowing things down and is currently organising the highly-anticipated competition Playboy of the Year 2010.

Bearing his remarks in mind, if your secret affair is exposed it could be best to admit responsibility.

Much research has suggested that marriages can survive acts of infidelity so long as adulterers are willing to be open and honest about their extramarital liaisons.

On the other hand, it might be best to play it safe and keep your mistress under wraps.ADNFCR-2938-ID-19725295-ADNFCR
