Women hoping for a bit of nookie could take to the poles
15 Apr 2010
The art of pole dancing has long tempted men away from their marital beds and out for a bit on the side. However, with a growing trend of pole dance classes popping up across the UK, it seems that the attraction is no longer confined to seedy strip clubs full of men seeking out mistresses.
In addition to providing a full body workout, women hoping to get a bit of nookie could benefit from trying their hand at the activity in order to please an extramarital lover.
Cambridge University is the latest place to offer courses in the seductive skill.
From April 25th, the historic university's aptly named Blue Room will play host to weekly classes.
A spokeswoman for the Cambridge Union, which is to offer the courses, said: "We are of the opinion that classes like these are a way of empowering women, as well as being a fantastic way to exercise and have fun together with other women."
They went on to say that it is an exciting way for "intelligent and independent" women to learn a new form of dance in respectable surroundings.
However, there is nothing to say that male classes may not be made available in the future and this equally could prove effective in keeping the flame burning in your secret affair.
