Second tattooed dancer claims to be Jesse James' mistress

A second woman has made claims that she was having a secret affair with Jesse James, the husband of Sandra Bullock.

Just as the furore surrounding the alleged relationship between Mr James and exotic dancer Michelle McGee was beginning to die down, new allegations have now appeared.

Much like McGee, Melissa Smith is also a heavily tattooed dancer, but she claims to have been James' mistress for the past two years.

Speaking to the US magazine Star, she alleges that the two were engaged in an adulterous relationship from September 2006 until March 2009.

Last week, James - the star of a reality TV show centred on his motorcycle shop - apologised to Bullock and his children from a previous marriage for his indiscretions through a statement issued to People magazine.

He is the latest in a string of high-profile male celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic to see allegations of infidelities reported in the media.
