More women getting a bit of nookie on first date

Male adulterers looking for a bit of nookie will be punching the air upon hearing the findings of a new report.

Research commissioned by Bayer Healthcare, to mark the 50th anniversary of the contraceptive pill, found that almost four in ten women (39 per cent) had slept with a partner by their third date.

For those who are looking for a one-off rendezvous with an extramarital lover, the study also showed that some 11 per cent of ladies are prepared to get down on the first night.

Perhaps surprisingly, it also revealed that there is not much difference between the age groups, dispelling the myth that it is the younger generation who are prone to promiscuous behavior.

Among 20 to 24-year-olds, the figure for those who slept with a partner on a first date was 13 per cent, compared to a close 11 per cent in the 35 to 39 age range.

So whether you are married but looking for a mature mistress or a younger bit on the side, there seems to be plenty of opportunity for playing away from home this summer.

Just remember not to take your secret lover to Tenerife, as a new poll showed it is the most likely destination to fall pregnant in while on holiday.
