Spanish unlikely to give an inquisition on adultery

Those playing away from home may want to take the phrase literally and head to Spain after a new study revealed open attitudes to adultery.Inmark found that six out of ten Spanish nationals over the age of 46 are not averse to a spot of infidelity and may in fact embrace it, according to the Barcelona Reporter.
Some 1103 people between the ages of 18 and 55 were asked for their opinion on being unfaithful, with the results showing the older generation are more likely to get a bit on the side.
The study also revealed that while most people prefer to meet their dates in bars, restaurants and clubs, the internet is playing an increasing role in making initial contact with extramarital lovers.
It's not the first time our continental counterparts have shown a more lenient view of adultery.
Italian-born Fabio Capello, manager of the England football team, was cited as saying that former team captain John Terry would have been applauded for his infidelity if he was in a different country and not the UK.
Meanwhile, the French first couple Nicolas Sarkozy and supermodel wife Carla Bruni are both rumoured to be having secret affairs.
