Take That star Mark Owen has admitted to a string of infidelities throughout his five year relationship with wife Emma.In an interview with the Sun last night, Owen decided to come clean about his adulterous ways just hours after telling his wife.
The squeaky clean singer, who is known for his cheeky chappy showmanship and strong Mancunian accent, told the news provider that he had been unfaithful to his partner with at least ten other women.
He reveals that the majority of his extramarital flings were one-night stands with girls he met before the couple were married last October.
However, he also admitted to having a long-term secret affair with 24-year-old account manager Neva Hanley.
Commenting on the declaration, Michael Deacon, the Telegraph's TV features editor, said he predicts the public will have a lenient attitude to the singer's unfaithfulness and his popularity should remain "undamaged".
"Owen's fans have always believed he's a nice guy and I suspect it would take more than today's revelations to persuade them that he isn't," he remarked.
Meanwhile, Alison Tay, sex and style editor at Now Magazine, said that the only heartache felt with fans will be that they weren't lucky enough to be one of his mistresses.
