Tess gives unfaithful Vernon the time of 'Daly'

TV personality Tess Daly has revealed for the first time her commitment to stick by unfaithful husband Vernon Kay.

In her first interview since revelations of his sex text affair with five extramarital "lovers", the blonde mother-of-two said their marriage was worth saving.

Speaking on the BBC's The One Show, she said: "It's been tough as you can imagine, but I've taken some time out to think things through and at the end of the day we've had ten great years together, we've got two beautiful kids and we both think that's worth fighting for."

Former model Vernon admitted last month that he held secret relationships with a series of SMS mistresses whom he would send sexually explicit text messages to.

While he didn't play away from home in the physical sense, he seemed to have created a virtual fantasy in which he could get a bit on the side while he was married but looking.

Perhaps Tess decided to follow the path to forgiveness after reading a recent quote from Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges.

Speaking to the Metro, the Crazy Heart star said that love is not clear cut and will sometimes face scenarios that you may not initially have expected.

He advised people to "enlarge their concept of love" if they want to have a long and happy life together.
