Adulterous president rings in support for Tiger
3 Mar 2010
Former US president Bill Clinton has lent his support to American golfer Tiger Woods after details of his infidelities spilled into the public domain.According to a report in the People, the Democrat telephoned the golf star to boost his morale after it emerged he had a string of secret affairs.
"President Clinton spoke with Tiger and wished him well," spokesperson Matt McKenna told the news provider.
Mr Clinton may himself be out of the woods following revelations of his secret affair with White House assistant Monica Lewinski in the 1990s but Tiger Woods has been undergoing a stint in sex rehab.
Nevertheless, Woods's wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren, has given her backing to the golfing pro and appears determined not to let his adulterous ways ruin their marriage.
When he emerged from rehab last month she was the first to meet and greet him, a sign than any marriage can survive unfaithfulness, even such a public one.
However, if you don't want to be caught out like Tiger, you could think about obtaining a special application revealed for the iPhone.
TigerText is a secret messaging service that will automatically delete texts sent to an extramarital lover's phone once they have been read.
