The science behind successful dating

The science behind successful dating Online dating may seem like a flirtatious bit of fun, particularly if you are looking for an extramarital lover, but according to one expert it’s a complicated science.

Andrew Trees, author of Decoding Love, has formulated a wealth of scientific, social, psychological and economic theory to determine what the underlying facts are in finding love, according to an article in the Independent.

The news provider reveals that Mr Trees found biological factors are a key factor and love is certainly not blind.

Women looking for a bit on the side are likely to go for a man with a strong square jaw line as this signifies high levels of testosterone and masculinity.

Similarly, the news provider says that women showing "genetic fitness" in the form of a low hip-to-waist ratio are likely to adorn the attention of men looking for a bit of nookie.

While online dating can open many doors for extramarital relationships, research by Mr Trees suggests that over analysing what's available can paralyse you from moving forward and you may miss the opportunity.

Meanwhile, a recent poll by popcorn brand Butterkist revealed that a lot of men still live up to a theory supported by infamous psychologist Freud, which claims they like the motherly attractiveness of an ample cleavage.ADNFCR-2938-ID-19646275-ADNFCR
