Football fans are more concerned about John Terry's financial affairs than his adulterous relationship with a team mate's ex-girlfriend.According to a poll by the Metro newspaper, just 30 per cent of people are shocked by his infidelity.
However, some 43 per cent are disappointed by allegations that he touts his private box at Wembley for £4,000 a game.
Terry was found to have cheated on his wife Toni with Vanessa Perroncel, the former partner of his England team mate Wayne Bridge.
He has since made amends with his wife after flying out to Dubai to holiday with her and the couple's twins.
Earlier this month, a survey commissioned by ITV revealed that 51 per cent of men thought he should resign as England captain as a result of his adultery.
However, just 41 per cent of women thought the same, suggesting that the ladies were quicker to forgive him for his secret affair.
