Cheating spouses caught out with Valentine's Day gifts

16 Feb 2010
Cheating spouses caught out with Valentine's Day gifts Valentine's Day may have exposed a number of cheating spouses who spent money on gifts for their extra-marital lovers this weekend.

According to infidelity expert Ruth Houston, husbands and wives who failed to cover their tracks on February 14th may now find themselves under suspicion.

She explained that there are a number of factors associated with the purchase and delivery of Valentine's Day gifts that could contribute to the discovery of a secret affair.

For example, philanderers may have exhibited guarded behaviour before, during and after the big day, possibly using dubious excuses to slip away and visit their bit on the side.

Spending large amounts of money on lavish gifts could also have aroused suspicion if married couples share their finances, while mixing up gifts may have been a dead giveaway.

Of course clever adulterers will have been extra careful and can rest easy knowing their secret is still perfectly safe.
