One in three women 'have cheated on a partner'

One in three women 'have cheated on a partner' Infidelity among women is more common than people might think, according to the findings of a new survey by the News of the World's Fabulous magazine.

It found that one third of ladies in the UK have been unfaithful to a partner, while over half think it's possible to love two people at the same time.

Of the women questioned, almost a quarter said they were currently having a secret affair with a married man.

It seems the desire to have a bit on the side stems from an unfulfilling sex life.

The survey showed that 84 per cent of women think it's possible to be in love with someone you're not having great sex with.

With this in mind, many women may find themselves seeking sexual pleasure outside the marriage, content with their loving relationship with their other half.

Last month, research led by psychology professor Maryann Fisher at Saint Mary's University revealed that women feel guiltier about emotional infidelity than sexual transgressions, while the opposite is true for men.
