Toni Terry to give husband another chance

It looks as though John Terry may be able to save his marriage, as his wife is reportedly ready to give him another chance.

The footballer is alleged to have cheated on his wife with the ex-girlfriend of his former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge.

A friend of Toni's told the Daily Mirror that she had spoken to her husband on the phone during her holiday in Dubai with the couple's twins.

During an emotional 45-minute phone call, she told the sportsman that he had one more chance after he insisted the affair was just a "silly fling".

"Toni's given him the benefit of the doubt," said the source. "She's chosen to believe his version rather than what everyone else is telling her."

Ms Terry was spotted relaxing in Dubai with her children, still wearing her diamond engagement ring.

So perhaps things will work out for John in the end. The England player is due to hold talks with Fabio Capello this week, who will decide whether he should continue as captain of the national side.

According to a recent survey commissioned by ITV, four out of ten people think he should be allowed to retain his position.
