Infidelity common among footballers, model reveals

Following news of John Terry's extra-marital affair, glamour model Alicia Douvall has revealed that infidelity is common among top footballers.

The 30-year-old, who claims to have slept with Terry when his wife was pregnant, said many are living the high life and playing away from home.

"They've all got high levels of testosterone and high sex drives and won't ever be satisfied with just one woman," she told the Daily Star.

Douvall has also been involved with former Manchester United player Dwight York and Celestine Babayaro, who has played for Chelsea and Newcastle United.

She said that Terry in particular believed he wouldn't get caught, which suggests that unfaithful footballers should perhaps be a little more careful in the future.

But his reputation among women could already be on the mend, as a survey commissioned by ITV as shown that 40 per cent ladies think he should retain the England captaincy, the Telegraph reports.
