Online daters 'just as attractive' as offline counterparts
30 Jan 2010
Online dating is a great way to meet potential extra-marital lovers and has gained in popularity and acceptability in recent years.Several years ago, it was assumed that only desperate oldies and the aesthetically challenged posted internet dating profiles.
Now things have changed, and people of all ages are using the internet to chat to new people, many of whom are total hotties.
According to a new study by researchers at Iowa State University, online daters are just as attractive as their offline counterparts.
They're also every bit as intelligent and have the same levels of self-esteem.
It's simply that they don't have the time to meet people in more conventional ways, Reuters Life reports.
It could be argued that online daters are actually smarter, as they're opening themselves to a much wider dating pool by looking on the web.
And of course if it's a secret affair you're after, meeting someone online in the comfort of your own home is less likely to attract suspicion, as long as you delete your chat history.
