Cheating men 'feel less guilt'

Cheating men 'feel less guilt' You're a man, you're having a secret affair behind your wife's back and she is completely clueless. So why don't you feel guilty?

According to a new study published in the Spanish Journal of Psycholfromogy, it could be down to genetics.

Researchers found that men feel less remorse than women, not only about extra-marital relationships, but also about smaller things, like missed birthdays, the Daily Mail reports.

While women lie awake at night fretting over their actions, men often enjoy a guilt-free night's sleep and tend not to worry too much about what they've done.

But before you start feeling guilty about not feeling guilty, the study also shows that being too remorseful can be bad for your health.

The researchers discovered that people who worry more have weaker immune systems than those who simply get on with life.

"We should be more positive about taking pleasure, especially in everyday simple things," they suggested.

So stop worrying and make a date with your mistress.

Besides, another new study by Dr Kenneth Levy and Dr Kristen Kelly of Pennsylvania State University has shown that women feel more betrayed by emotional infidelity than sexual indiscretions, so she may forgive you for having a bit on the side.
