Online dating 'helps narrow the field'

Online dating 'helps narrow the field' Those seeking an extra-marital relationship with someone new may be better off looking online, according to one dating expert.

In an article for YourTango, writer Denise Ngo said online dating allows people to narrow the field and meet like-minded people more quickly.

This is certainly the case for those who are married but looking, as it immediately puts them in touch with others in the same position.

Ruling out those who are seeking a future husband or wife, as opposed to a bit on the side, makes online dating much more efficient.

It also opens up the possibility of finding someone you would never normally meet in the course of your everyday life.

Ms Ngo claimed that online dating is a time saver, which is particularly important for those who have little spare time on their hands outside of work and family commitments.

Julie Spira of internet magazine cyberdatingexpert.com told the Buffalo News recently that online dating has lost its stigma in recent years and is now a completely reputable way to meet new people.
