5 Jan 2010
Actress Tara Fitzgerald has insisted that life is simply too short to be tied to just one sexual partner. The Waking the Dead star told the Daily Mail that that in some ways the idea of settling down with a spouse is "alien" to her.
"I kind of understand the idea that we're not supposed to be with one person for ever," the 42-year-old remarked.
"I'm more familiar with having a peripatetic existence, flitting here and there."
However, she also said she "gets the whole husband-kids-home thing" as well, insisting that most of the time she "wants it all".
Tara isn't the only celebrity who believes life is for living when it comes to love, sex and relationships.
Amanda Holden told the Mirror recently that music mogul Simon Cowell will never settle down with one person.
The actress and TV presenter said her Britain's Got Talent co-star loves women too much to stay with someone for life.
