Yesterday I had Xmas lunch with an old LL client who has been using our site on and off for 12 years and who has had intimate knowledge of more than 80 women.  He is not Brad Pitt, he is nice looking, good gym-toned body but not a movie star.  He had been away for a couple of years (family stuff) but came back early this year for 2 months under a new identity that I didnt even spot.  He was full of praise for the LL system.  "Use it right" he said "and it is a total sexual goldmine".   I asked him his secret and it was the following:  He spent two 5 hour sessions at his computer and wrote to 70 women.  Each email was personally constructed and obviously written just for her.  He received 18 replies.  He exchanged emails with these 18 women and the list of possibles was whittled down to 5 meetings.  Each of the 5 was interested and he eventually settled for one woman who has been seeing for 3 months -result!

I told him that some guys get discouraged when they don't see instant results and he laughed – women told him just how unrealistic many men were in expecting instant sex.  "It doesnt matter how horny a woman is " he said "evryone wants to be seduced.  You can't just blunder in asking if they are 'up for it'! "  Some guys he said even have a hotel booked for the first meeting which is reallly arrogant and offensive to many women who come to LL looking for a fun realtionship with an interesting guy.  This tallies with many of the feedbacks I have had from female users  who say that men feel that an affair should pop through their PC screen like an ITune download. No, you have to be prepared to work at it.

If you use LL in a thoughtful way, taking time to seduce women you meet on the site you will succeed – our users are genuine and come to us to find friendship + sex not just a quick sh@g. 

Feeling slightly groggy after night of excess at the LL Xmas drinks in Covent Garden yesterday. Jeez! Lots of bubbly, anyone would think we were a bunch of bankers rather than a batch of happy adulterers. Amazing how long some people had been part of our little community, one lady I was talking to had user ID #5 on our forum – that goes back well over a decade.

I guess that is the community spirtit that makes links a bit special and keeps me working hard for it to succeed and dance on into 2012.

It has been a very hectic time here at LL this Winter which is , I suppose, some excuse for not blogging as regularly as I should.  There is also the problem that there is only so much one can say about adultery without become too repetitious.  In something like 300 posts I guess I have explored most of the main subject areas and writing about tabloid celebrity affairs is never that interesting.

This week we are getting into the Xmas spirit here at LL and we have our Xmas drinks party booked for next wednesday evening in central London.  If you regularly visit our forum you will know the venue details but if you are not a regular forum user then do make a new years resolution to visit and post regularly so we invite you to these events.

I know that the recession is beginning to bite and many of you are cutting corners in your dating so next year I will use this blog to look at ways in which you can save money on your romantic restaurants and hotel rooms whilst avoiding the obvious travelodges which are not the most inviting places for romance and lust.  I might even bring in some guest bloggers to talk very specifically about these subject areas.  I think that this might be a useful service in these difficult times.
