Cameron cutie comes a cropper

[Posted October 28th, 2009]

Poor Liz Truss is paying bigtime for an affair she had ages ago that is now affecting her selection for a prime Tory seat.  It is outgeous that her career should be affected in this way for an affair that was hardly a state secret.  I would be amazed if none of the selection committee in Norfolk had not dabbled at one time or another.  This is an amazing level of hypocrisy.  At least David Cameron has offered her his support.

Adulterery goes back to normal

[Posted October 22nd, 2009]

A good old-fashioned story of deception and adultery graces the Femail section of the Mail today. Lynsey tells of her life as the ‘other woman’ and indeed the other mother.  After all the death and destruction this last month its good to read a story that doesnt end in blood and prison.  This might not be the case of course if the comments of 138 mail readers were taken into account.  Peppered with comments like ‘Oh shut up woman. Exactly how stupid are you??? You got everything you deserved’.  Everyone concerned was quite rightly vilified (vilified for speaking to the Daily Mail that is! lol)

I was interviewed again today on an Irish radio station - they really are keen to hear about life in lusty London - such a shame all this media activity wasnt this side of the Irish Sea it would have paid for my Xmas break.

Irish flags everywhere!

When I monitor our web system I can see who is logged in and also which country they are logged in from by national flag.  This week the screen went green!!  We had endless vistors from the Emerald Isle.  I am not sure which media event sparked it off but I was invited on Shannon radio this morning to talk about extramarital matters.   It was a while since I have been on Irish radio and the attitude seemed to have changed somewhat.   The radio host - Joe - was really gung ho on nookie.  Even the counsellor who was on as the opposition was quite subdued on the subject.  This is great since I like the Irish enormously and the more that come our way the happier I am.  Expect to see them cropping up on the forum and in chat soon.

Infidelity gets dangerous

When I started blogging about adultery it was basically a light hearted venture.  We could smile as celebs like Jude Law got caught with their pants around their ankles and the news reporters hiding in his wardrobe.  We also smiled at the chequebook journalism with the ‘I shagged Man Utd striker’ revelations.  Nothing earth shattering or disturbing there.   I now look at my screen and find that a macabre streak has moved in and encapsulated in yesterdays Mail with a major article om marriages ending in murder.  Crimes of passion rule ok!   As hard as I try I can find nothing that amuses in millionaire banker Neil Ellerbeck who was found guilty of manslaughter after strangling his wife Kate.  This is the darkside of adultery.  Alongside this we have Alisdair Sinclair who stands accused of stabbing to death his wife, mobile phone executive Sally, in front of two children.  We have some bloggable content in the case of poet Joanne Hale who is accused of luring her husband Peter into the woods with the promise of a ‘ drugfuelled sex session’ driven by a herbal aphrodisiac called Horny Goat Weed.  This is kinky stuff, we have sex games, sex drugs and the motive - Joanne wanted to pop off for some rumpy pumpy with a guy she met on the internet.  Most women I know would simply say they were out for a pilates class or a school reunion.  But no, Joanne was really creative , she was a poet after all.  I’m struggling as you can see to inject something chatty into the death of three people from the nasty effects of adultery.  Come back Sven - all is forgiven!

Our hall of adultery fame expands

Well a big welcome to David Letterman the great U.S chat show host who has confessed to sexual adventures with women in his team.  I can’t say I am overly suprised although I have always worked on a ‘don’t screw the crew’ principle.  He is a witty, charming, charismatic guy and quite a catch for any lady trying to make it in the TV business.   I think his strategy of dealing with an impending blackmail attempt was excellent.  Once the evidence was out in the world it would have come out eventually and this was the best way to defuse further fall out.  I remember how Letterman was relentless in his jibes about Clinton so maybe this was a bit of Karma.  On the other hand instead of denying his misdemeanours Letterman was disarmigly open on the subject.  This is clever damage limitation.
