Fighting the dating scammers
[Posted April 2nd, 2008]On a normal day we swat 5 potential dating scammers usually from Africa. Some scam artists do unfortunately slip into our system but we check all suspect registrations very carefully indeed. One of the really good scammer checking sites is The Online Dating Mug Book
If you ever get sent a pic of a potential date that is just too good to be true pop it thru this site’s filter and it will tell you if the pic belongs to a known scammer.
This is just one of many tools we use to keep our site scam free and we report all scammers to 3 major scam databases with all details we know about them.
So if you get the odd Nigerian email offering you 18 million quid let us know and we will zap ‘em quick!!
