Just came across a wacky story about virtual adultery.  It seems a guy who met his partner on ‘second life’ is being divorced because his wife found him bouncing around on a sofa in ’second life’.  Apparently the solicitor handling the divorce said it was not an uncommon experience.   The husband and wife concerned had actually already done a virtual marriage  ceremony on second life as well as a normal civil ceremony.  So presumably the poor sod will be lumbered with 2 sets of lawyers and 2 sets of maintenance - one real and one virtual.  Well that’s what you get for exchanging bodily pixels where you shouldnt!

A nice juicy News of the World piece today masquerading as a medical story.  Apparently Randi Terri Hunter 25 is a female sex addict - what we used to term a ‘nympho’  - whho has had her wicked way with 1000+ men.    Her face looks vaguely familiar - possibly she passed thru the loving links site?  The story said she used the internet to feed her addiction and no doubt she was an affeccianado of the adult dating community.   Heavens knows why she has come forward to tell her story  when she has managed to be faithful to her current partner for 2 months.  She certainly won’t go short of offers after this week!

Times online is turning into a daily delight for me it is by far the most salacious source of quality nookie stories around.  This one is a peach!  A wife writes about how British airways kindly upgraded her husban and a blonde he was chatting up into First class so they could have a bonk without disturbing other passengers.  The husband - gentleman that he is - was  sociable enough to tell the girl his first name and what he did.  She then googled him and besieged him with txt messages and generally boiled some bunnies.  The wife is migghtily angry that finding someone on google is so easy!   The problem is that unless you are sure you are going to get your wicked way with a fellow passenger how can you know not to introduce yourself properly?   ‘Hi I’m Simon , a senior partner at PWC Glasgow office.’ 

There is a good checklist in Times online on points to consider before you ‘fess up to your partner on your extra curricular activities.  You can apparently even call relate who will counsel you through your options for just £45.00.   The most telling point in the checklist is …

‘f there is no way that your partner will find out about a one-off misdemeanour on a business trip, and you want your relationship to survive, honesty is not necessarily the best policy.’

Time to confess :

When you tell your partner your motive should be a genuine desire to improve or, if necessary, gently terminate your relationship.

The IMF chief Dominique Strauss Kahn( DSK) has apologised for "an incident concerning me and a staff member".  They had been making ‘crac - crac’ as the French so eloquently put it.   The other party Ms Piroska Nagy has been dismissed by DSK’s wife as a one night stand.  Are the rules in France changing on crac crac?  We hope not.  The french system has been the model for the Links’ view on the world as it should be - vive le crac-crac!

The Independent has excelled itself this week with a pull out guide to infidelity including a great piece from Terence Blacker who once said of me ‘One day David Miller may be considered a hero - a Marie Stopes for the confused adulterer’.   The indie article does a good jib in putting the whole infidelity stuff in perspective.
